ABOUT US
|
We are the Indiana University Swing Dance Club! Come have fun, make friends, and learn to dance with us today. We offer weekly lessons and social dances for beginners and experienced dancers alike on our beautiful IU campus.
The IU Swing Dance Club was founded in 1998 as a means to bring this African-American dance to the lives of students and community members. Our club mainly teaches the Savoy-style Lindy Hop, but we've also had lessons and workshops on Charleston, Balboa, Collegiate Shag, and more. We also host weekly and monthly dance events, B-Side, themed-dances, and make an effort to dance wherever there is live music! |
